Yemeni intellectuals condemn the attack on parliamentarian Ahmed Saif Hashid and call for a broad campaign of solidarity

Statement of Solidarity
Yemeni intellectuals and activists have strongly condemned the attack on parliamentarian Ahmed Saif Hashid, who was subjected to him today, Sunday, February 07, 2021, in the House of Representatives in Sana’a, by removing him from the parliament hall against the background of his request for the final accounts of the parliament, where Askar in civilian clothes tried to withdraw him From the hall on the orders of Yahya Al-Ra’I, Chairman of the Council.
And they expressed their condemnation and denunciation of what happened to the parliamentarian who under the dome of Parliament and under the direction of the Speaker of Parliament.
The Union of Arab Parliamentarians and parliaments in the world called for solidarity with parliamentarian Ahmed Seif Hashid.
They also called on the Syndicate of Journalists, the Union of Arab Journalists and all journalists in the world to stand in solidarity with Mr. Ahmed Seif Hashid, publisher of the independent newspaper.
And they called on human rights organizers in the world to stand in solidarity with the distinguished human rights defender, Hashid.
And they called for judicial workers to stand in solidarity with Hashid as a judge. They also called on the leaders of political parties in Yemen to show solidarity with him.
