A statement condemning the Houthis’ raising the value of the customs dollar from two hundred and fifty riyals to six hundred riyals
Parliamentarian Ahmed Saif Hashid wrote on his Facebook page about the real dangers of the Houthis’ decision on the issue of raising the value of the customs dollar from 250 riyals to 600 riyals. The brave parliamentarian Ahmed Saif Hashid said:
Raising the customs dollar from 250 to 600 means a doubling of all customs revenues collected.
This means that a fatal dose is coming, which is more than the depressed citizen can bear, especially since everything we import except for looters, thieves and corrupt people.
What we import is at least 90% of what we consume.
