A statement of solidarity with the brave parliamentarian Ahmed Saif Hashed against death threats against the backdrop of his positions defending human rights and opposing injustice in Yemen
The attack on the brave parliamentarian Ahmed Seif Hashid is no longer confined to comments on his Facebook page, but the matter has gone beyond that to allocating pages in social media whose main function is to incite Parliamentary Ahmed Seif Hashid to kill, and the matter has gone beyond social media pages to the extent of using mosques in Incitement against Parliamentary Representative Ahmed Seif Hashid, an issue that should not pass by, but all civil society forces should go beyond the limits of condemnation of such criminal behavior of hateful groups against all civil values.. We hold the de-facto authority in Sana’a all legal, moral and humanitarian responsibility for Any harm could be inflicted on the fighter Ahmed Seif Hashid, and we affirm that we are in a country that has confiscated all civil liberties, including the partisan press. However, we are fed up with critical opinions of human rights violations in Yemen through social media pages despite their limitations… We demand the Journalists Syndicate to show solidarity with the President Editing the independent newspaper due to the threats he faces as a result of his defense of human rights in Yemen. We call on members of the Yemeni parliament as well as parliamentarians in the Arab world and the world Serious solidarity with parliamentarian Ahmed Seif Hashed as a result of threats targeting his right to life and right to express his opinion.
