A statement of solidarity with the judge and parliamentarian Ahmed Seif Hashed and the judge and civil activist Abdel Wahab Qatran
Against the background of the unjust campaign they were subjected to against the background of recording their testimony related to their visit with a delegation of jurists and civil activists to Professor Intisar Al Hammadi in the Central Prison in Sana’a on the twenty-fourth of May 2021 AD
Parliamentary judges Ahmed Seif Hashed and Judge Abdul-Wahhab Qatran were subjected to verbal violence, threats of trial and treason against the background of recording their impressions and testimonies resulting from their visit with a number of human rights figures and civil activists to Professor Intisar Al Hammadi, who has been unjustly detained in the Central Prison for more than three months. The authority in Sana’a has all the legal, moral and national responsibility to protect the judge and parliamentarian Ahmed Saif Hashid and Judge Abdul-Wahhab Qatran, who played their part and recorded their impressions and testimonies about the oppression of Professor Intisar Al-Hammadi. He practices a work that falls to the core of his specialty, which is the defense of human rights in Yemen as a parliamentarian and as a member of the Freedoms and Human Rights Committee in the Yemeni Parliament. The judge and civil activist in the defense of human rights, Mr. Abdul-Wahhab Qatran, did not commit a sin when he recorded his impression and testimony about his visit to the oppressed Yemeni citizen, Mrs. Intisar Al Hammadi in the central prison in Sana’a..Professor E Nasr Al-Hammadi to a torrent of insults and using their images and downloading them without asking for their consent in a clear and explicit violation of human rights in Yemen.
